Coronavirus Information & Updates
Updated April 17 at 11:30 a.m.
Bishop Sumner has extended the suspension of all public services through May 10. This is in keeping with the best advice of the HHS, the CDC, and of Public Health in North Texas. As we stay safe and healthy, join us in the many online worship and discipleship opportunities.

Now in the Lord you are light. Live as children of light— for the fruit of the light is found in all that is good and right and true (Ephesians 5.8,9).
Dear Epiphany Faithful,
As we continue to walk through strange and rapidly changing conditions, remember that in the Lord we are indeed children of light. It is precisely when things seem confusing or dark that we are given the means and opportunities to shine brightly. How beautiful it is to see the Light of Christ shining through you as you worship and pray together online, give generously and reach out to one another day by day. God is working mightily through you all.
Yesterday I received word from Bishop Sumner that the suspension of all public worship and gatherings will continue through Easter Sunday. This means online worship will be necessary for Holy Week and Easter Day. This is something I have never imagined could happen. I know, however, that the work God has done in this last week through us all will continue in wonderful ways not yet imagined.
We are already reaching more folks with the light and love of Christ than ever before with our online prayers and worship. In the days to come, we will have opportunities to grow deeper in our faith with online learning. We are exploring ways to to care for one another virtually and to share resources with those most at risk in our community. Finally, it is in intentional moments of stillness, watching and waiting that we will meet Christ and encounter his life-changing peace.
Please note that our online worship schedule has been simplified and expanded. Every single day we will have Daily Prayer Online at 8AM and 8PM. Pray Morning Prayer and Compline with folks from Epiphany live-streaming from their homes. Worship on Sundays will be live-streamed from Servants Chapel at Epiphany at 10AM. All these services may be found by clicking here.
As hard as it is not to gather at our Epiphany home, this time of sacrifice will bear the fruit of light. Be expectant and courageous. God is calling us to all that is good and right and true. I love you all and pray for you daily. Please call me with any questions, needs or concerns.
About our Church
The word “epiphany” (e-PIFF-an-ee) means “appearance” or “a sudden new understanding of the essential nature of something.” At the Church of the Epiphany, we believe that in Jesus Christ, God has appeared to humanity. Even more, we gather in order that we, as individuals and as a community might have ‘epiphanies’ in our own lives—new and deeper understandings of God, his love for us and his purpose for our lives. As a parish community, we are committed to our vision to be “Servants for God, our parish and the community”. Jesus reminds us that as we serve others, especially ‘the least of these my brothers and sisters’, we encounter and serve Jesus himself. We invite you to join us. Come visit us for worship on Sunday.
